Successful Teamwork and Collaboration

An example of successful teamwork and collaboration that I have seen was in high school when I was on a Marketing Plan team for FFA.  On this team we had to work very closely with one another in order to research our product, write our proposal, and create a presentation.  We all had different schedules and personalities so at times it was difficult to get together and work on our project.  Eventually our teacher helped inspire us to work harder and closer together.  We realized that if we communicated with one another better, we could accomplish more.
Each of us had our own individual sections in the presentation that we had to master. We practiced for hours and hours each week preparing for the county, state, and national competitions.
Through this project we became so close that we knew each others parts in the presentation and we could help each other if someone stumbled on an answer.  For example, at the national competition we were able to add on to each others answers to show the judges how much we actually knew.
