Challenges with teamwork and collaboration

Some challenges in teamwork and collaboration are communication, reliability, and differences of opinions. If there is not good communication within the team, not a lot can be accomplished. Additionally, it is through communication that conflict can be resolved and people can share their ideas.  But if communication is not there, issues can linger and cause tension within the team.
Lack of reliability can also be an issue in teamwork.  If you are constantly dropping the ball and not following through on commitments, your team will not trust you with future tasks.  This can cause tension and will weaken the bond between you and your teammates.
Not accepting others opinions can cause an issue within teams as well. It is important that we stand  up for opinions but also listen to others.  Collaboration in a team is important.
