Delegation

As Elders Quorum President, President Samuelson eventually delegated the task of mowing the lawn.  This helped the men in his quorum to accept a calling of responsibility and to work together to accomplish the task.  Delegation is extremely important as leaders as we help those that we lead learn to accomplish things on their own and often better. This semester I got a Program Director named Corrine, who is amazing. She has helped start the clubs area facebook page and has made it extremely successful. I would not have been able to accomplish it as fast and as well as Corrine did.
I will keep in mind the importance of delegation in future leadership roles by always making sure I don't have too much on my plate. I will always check with my team members to see what they are working on and if they want more tasks to do.
