Integrity is one of the main bases of leadership. It is vital that leaders stand up for what they believe to be right and wrong. Leaders are able to grow and develop as they challenge unrighteousness. The world is becoming more acceptable of unrighteousness and it is up to the leaders of today to withstand it. By standing up for what you believe to be right, you are able to stand up for it again in the future.
Additionally, by not holding back against unrighteousness you are able to share your opinion with others. Those around you will see that they can also decide to stay on the path of righteousness. By giving up those unrighteous acts and things around us, we are able to grow as leaders.
I can use this question to improve as a leader by sticking to my values and honoring my standards. If I am willing to stand up against unrighteousness I will be able to become a more consistent leader and will not have to question my values. I will be able to stand firm in what I believe in and will not be tempted by others to lower my standards. This is important as a leader, if a leader falls, their followers will fall even quicker.
